The past couple of months have been nothing short of devastating for Palestinian nationals, which has seen losses of life, destruction, and pure turmoil for each individual in the affected areas. An AI-generated image has been shared 46 million times on Instagram story admin continuous strikes on Rafah. This comes after the International Court of Justice ordered a halt fire on Israel after its offensive killed 45 people this week in al-Mawasi western Rafah, which was previously declared a safe zone. Another strike killed 21 people in displaced camps in the same region, 12 of them being women. Israel has since killed close to 40,000 people, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza from October 7th, 2023. It’s notable to know that this war didn’t begin this year or last year; it’s been going on, on an off-and-on basis from the late stages of the 19th to early 20th century up to now. The current brawl between Israel and Palestine is an ongoing political and military conflict about land and self-determination in its territory. All this has had its effects on both sides, especially Palestine, with the highest number of civilian lives lost. This goes back to 1917 with the Zionist movement, they garnered support from imperial power Britain that issued a declaration dubbed Balfour that was in support of the Jews settling in Palestine. During world war1 British-occupied Ottoman that was later formed into mandatory Palestine. This accounted for the mass immigration of Jews that led to tension between Arabs and Jews, resulting in Intercommunal conflict. Due to the conflict, an Arab revolt in 1936 was called for, where they demanded independence but were later suppressed. Destruction in displaced camps In 1948, the Palestine war was triggered again and resulted in the expulsion of most Palestinian Arabs. In 1967, The Dive Day War led to various attempts to try and resolve the Palestine-Israel conflict alongside Israel’s Arab rift. The negotiations between the Israeli government and the Palestinian liberation organization, which was a two-state solution according to the Oslo Accords of 1993-1995, have dwindled in the recent past to date. The conflict took a breather and then reincarnated in 2006, and this time, it was most catastrophic. Palestine split into two parts: the Fatas and the Hamas. During this time, the Israelites and Hamas have fought five wars up till now. On the other side, Israel has been experiencing a political crisis since 2019. Peace negotiations started in 2013 but were later suspended, with the latest war beginning in 2023-2024, which is currently counted as one of the five wars. When the recent conflict began affecting civilians, they moved from the attack-prone areas. As they kept advancing, so did the Israel attacks, which pushed Palestinians to Rafah, where they are currently seeking refuge from the war. Woman holding a plac card protesting Israel keeps advancing and attacking innocent and vulnerable Palestinian nationals despite international condemnation and intervention. Israel keeps shrugging off attempts by the UNSC and the ICJ’s orders to stop the ongoing attacks on Rafah, which have pushed nearly 1 million desperate Palestinians to Gaza, many of whom have been displaced multiple times; the recent attack has left 45 dead as the situation becomes more intense. Those being told to stay in camps where they have set up tents to avoid being bombed find themselves moving because there’s nothing like a safe zone during this war. Israel t keeps bombing everywhere, from hospitals to camps. International communities have called for an immediate cease-fire. Israel is relentless and keeps advancing to Rafah. The military stated that Rafah was a safe zone, but in the past week alone, there have been more than three attacks on Rafah where people have had to stay inside their houses to avoid being shot by Israeli drones. This has prompted people to go on social media and create a campaign to end the genocide happening in Rafah with the hashtag ‘ALL EYES ON RAFAH’
The First Child with Cerebral Palsy to Win American Ninja Warrior
One teen has shown the world that, against all odds, he can achieve his dreams. 18-year-old Vance Walker has proved that nothing would get in his way of realizing his aspirations. This teenager is a remarkable one, having been born with cerebral palsy. Up until first grade, he had to wear braces to assist him in walking. Interestingly, he had been informed he would never do sports. Despite the odds of doing regular physical therapy to manage pain, the teenager competed in the last season of American Ninja Warrior. He not only participated but also went through and won! Vance Walker became the first person with cerebral palsy to win and only the third person in fifteen seasons to take home the $1 million prize. Speaking about his achievements, he said, “It was the greatest moment of my life. Right there was eight years of training.” He explained that it was a dream come true for him after multiple years of training. Vance Walker in the competition The champion shared how, at the age of ten, he was fascinated by a guy he saw doing a backflip as one of the obstacles. The show was in its sixth season. This was one vision and dream, and he was unwilling to let anything take him down. He decided to put in the work that would see him through. Although sometimes hard on himself, he constantly reminded himself of his accomplishments and pats himself. He started with going to a gym for a camp the championships had. It was an adult playground filled with all the giant obstacles. He fell in love with the imagination he would have by flying through the air. He has received positive support from the cerebral palsy community through emails and letters. He has also influenced and inspired many children with the condition and their parents. Since the American Ninja Warrior started, no one has ever won it twice. Vance understands this and acknowledges that he is just having fun, having won the last season. “Nobody has ever come back and won it twice. So I’m not expecting anything. I want to win it again, but I am here to enjoy it.” Vance also advised that to overcome fear as a participant, one needs to be prepared and put in years of extensive training on replicas of those types of obstacles. The competition is open to teenagers 15 years and above. For him, he has been a competitor since he was 16.
KeNHA Announces Partial Closure of Section of Mombasa Road
On Friday, the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) stated that they would partially shut down the Mombasa (A8) Road close to Imaara shopping center. This is to enable the placement of culverts and repair activities at these parts. The closure will affect both lanes leading towards Nairobi. The shutdown will impact the lanes towards Nairobi near Imaara Mall, starting from Friday, May 31, 2024, at 8 pm until Monday, June 3, 2024, at 6 am, as stated by KeNHA Director General Kung’u Ndung’u. Subsequently, there will be another closure on the lanes bound for Mombasa starting from Friday, June 7, 2024, at 8 pm until Monday, June 10, 2024, at 6 am. Ndung’u reminded drivers to exercise caution while passing through the affected sections. Motorists were given guidance by the authority to use the two main lanes and approach the affected sections with care. They were also reminded to follow the traffic signs and directions provided by the traffic police and marshals. Imaara Mall KeNHA declared its commitment to ensuring smooth connections for safe travel to foster economic growth. In September of the previous year, the road agency reported that they were progressing with expanding the construction of the Imaara Outfall drain. The waterway stretches for 3.5 kilometers to the Ngong River and when completed, it will redirect floodwaters that have been a problem for the community for decades. The drainage channel begins at A8, goes through Imaara Mall, Imara estate, Embakasi Girls, Mukuru Kwa Njenga, Kware, and ends at Ngong River (Outering Road). KeNHA mentioned in February that they are in the process of enhancing the old Mombasa road to the level of the Nairobi expressway. This project, costing Sh24.8 billion, will involve the creation of new footbridges and pathways for pedestrians. Kungu Ndungu, the Director General of Kenha, stated that construction would start soon after the repair of the road sections damaged during the construction of the expressway is completed. Lately, both KeNHA and the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) have been closing off segments of roads in Nairobi County for refurbishment and upkeep. In a notice dated March 23, KeNHA declared the temporary closure of Nyerere Road near the University of Nairobi roundabout, effective from Friday, May 24, and also issued a traffic advisory for drivers. A bridge in Mombasa Road The Highways Authority stated that the traffic interruption was needed to conduct maintenance tasks along that stretch of the highway. Meanwhile, KURA had also declared the shutdown of Valley Road, warning drivers in Nairobi County about a three-day traffic disturbance affecting three segments along the road. The notice mentioned that there will be traffic disturbance along Valley Road in Nairobi beginning at 6 AM on Saturday, May 18th, until 6 PM on Monday, May 20th, 2024. President Ruto had earlier said that he is focusing on boosting the economy sector of Kenya, including the transport sector.
South Africa Shares Initial Results From a Pivotal Ballot
The initial outcomes from what’s seen as South Africa’s most fiercely debated elections since the African National Congress (ANC) assumed power three decades back are out. This marks an important time in the country’s democratic past. So far, counting of the votes has been wrapped up in almost 27% of the total voting stations. With the counting so far done, ANC is at the front with 43%, next in line is Democratic Alliance (DA) which has 25%. The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) which is famous for their hardline approach is at 9%, compared to the uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK Party), headed by former President Jacob Zuma, which is at approximately 8%. The South African election process is spearheaded by Uhuru Kenyatta, the former president of Kenya. The complete results of the election will be disclosed over the weekend. ANC has maintained the majority number in parliament since 1994 when the apartheid system was terminated in South Africa. However, these first results predict that they may lose that position for the first time in history. Just like any other African country, South Africa is facing a lot of challenges like crime, unemployment, and increasing corruption levels. A lot of citizens point fingers at the ANC for causing these issues. A young girl playing with her teddy bear while people are voting In the 2019 elections, ANC experienced a win of 57%. However, this year it is likely to experience a decrease to 42% which is a huge loss to the party. This information was predicted by the News24 website and the respected Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) The decrease is likely to push ANC into forming collaborations with one or more other parties to reach the majority needed in parliament. Before forming the collaborations, ANC will have to bear in mind that Democratic Alliance has market oriented policies, while the two other parties prefer nationalisation and more state intervention. Choosing a partner is expected to bring a huge difference to the route South Africa is taking. Democracy Works Foundation, a non-profit organization, through their leader Prof William Gumede, stated that it’s uncertain whether President Cyril Ramaphosa will stay in his role. Prof William also added that President Ramaphosa could get a lot of pressure from the ANC to resign. The pressure can be caused by the party attaining less than 45% in the end results. He explained that the deputy, Paul Mashatile, might be in line to take over from the president. A citizen arguing with the polling station officer In South Africa, unlike in many other African countries, voters do not directly elect the president; instead, they vote for members of parliament who later elect the president. In KwaZulu-Natal, Mr. Zuma’s party possesses 43% of the votes, while the ANC has 21%. These results from this area indicate a few of the difficulties that ANC is experiencing from MK. Mr. Zuma surprised many in December when he revealed that he was leaving the ANC to campaign for MK. KwaZulu-Natal, the province with the second-highest number of registered voters and Mr. Zuma’s home will be important in determining whether the ANC can maintain its majority control in the parliament. Despite being prohibited from running for parliament due to a disrespect of a court order, Mr. Zuma’s name emerged on the ballot paper as the leader of MK. In Gauteng, South Africa’s business capital, the ANC holds 36% of the vote, while the DA has 29%. This is another region where the ANC is projected to fall behind. The South African elections, conducted on Wednesday, drew crowds of citizens, and the voting process went into the wee hours. People queuing to vote Reports from the electoral board indicate that the last polling station was on until 0300 on Thursday morning local time. The last time South Africa had such long queues during an election was in 1994, when black people were granted the freedom to vote for the first time. In the election, a total of 11 independents and 70 parties ran for office as the country chose nine provincial legislatures and a new parliament. The DA had earlier agreed to cooperate with 10 parties to form a government if they gathered enough votes. This coalition could potentially kick the ANC from their long-held position of power since 1994.
The Fight Against Muguka Continues As County Reinforcement Team Blocks Entry
Even after the president declared the ban against Muguka in the coastal counties null and void, it seems like the fight is not over yet. Muguka traders and county officials continue to have standoffs as lorries ferrying Muguka to Mombasa are denied entry. On Thursday, violent confrontations were witnessed as muguka transporters and county enforcement teams classed. This was after the trucks ferrying the products were blocked at the cess collection point located in Miritini. The county teams had mobilized organized youths to act as their reinforcement in blocking the traders from accessing the market. This happened after the traders and transporters overpowered the county reinforcement teams on Wednesday and forcefully gained entry into the Kongowea market. County officials had blocked roads using their vehicles in attempts to prevent the trucks ferrying muguka from entering Mombasa. This caused a huge fight between the traders and county officers, forcing the County Traffic Unit to intervene. The traders later gained entry into the market. However, they were not lucky on Thursday, as the county seemed to have come prepared with a heavily mobilized team of youths. The youths had mounted roadblocks and armed themselves with stones, waiting patiently for the transporters. The transporters, on their part, came prepared with a convoy of bodaboda escorts ready to force their entry. The loaded trucks seemed to have acquired goons from Mazeras and Mariakani ready to help. As the convoy of loaded trucks and bodaboda goons approached the cess collection point, they were shocked to encounter the heavily prepared county reinforcement team. The youths immediately charged into the convoy, hauling stones, broken bottles, and all types of objects. The county team seemed to have won the match, as the lorries loaded with muguka were forced to turn back. Soon after the chaos, the transporters blocked the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway with a huge bonfire in protest. They later retreated to Mariakani, where they offloaded the Muguka to sell to residents in the area. The traders cried of massive losses as they were unable to access the bustling city market. Muguka being prepared for the market Speaking in Miritini, the Director of the Inspectorate in Mombasa County, Charles Changawa, said that the county team is ensuring that the traders of muguka pay cess in accordance with county laws. Changawa says they’re determined to ensure safety and decorum and will not allow the traders to gain forceful entry into the market again. The fight against muguka in the coastal cities seems not to be ending soon as different bodies continue to urge the government to ban the product. Religious leaders from Mombasa point out the detrimental effects of the drug on the community, which include increased divorce rates, poor school performance, and dropout. They say that banning muguka will safeguard society and future generations. The former Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim adds that the fight against muguka is medical and not political. Farah says that the chemical formula in muguka and miraa is the same as toxic drugs and should be banned, just like shisha and marijuana. NACADA had classified muguka as a drug based on its chemical formula.
India Reports at Least 15 Deaths as Temperatures Rise
As temperatures continue to increase in northern and central India in the past day, several individuals have lost their lives due to heat-related illnesses. Authorities stated that on Thursday, ten deaths were reported at the state hospital in the Rourkela area of Odisha. Deaths caused by increased heat have also been recorded in Delhi, the capital city of India, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and Bihar. The scorching heat coincides with India’s ongoing general election, with results scheduled to be released on 4 June. Mr. Kumar reported that election day was among the hottest days, and despite medical facilities being present at all centers, they failed. He stated that one home guard, a volunteer policeman, lost consciousness at his location. He added that the individual passed away in the hospital while receiving treatment. He also indicated that around 30 to 40 individuals had been admitted to the hospital on Thursday suffering from conditions related to excessive heat. Due to the ongoing increased heat, the number of hospital admissions in medical facilities is also increasing. A laborer who was admitted to a hospital in Delhi with heatstroke passed away on Thursday while undergoing treatment. A staff pouring water on a patient Heat strokes are termed “life-threatening” by India’s National Centre for Disease Control, with a mortality rate of 40 to 64%. Over the last two weeks, northern, central, and portions of western India have experienced persistent heat, with maximum temperatures floating at 45-46 C for days and peaking at 50 C in some areas. Due to the increased consumption of electricity and water in many areas, severe shortages of the two basic needs have also been experienced. The rising temperatures have led to an increase in fires across India, provoking officials to use drones to monitor forest fires in Kashmir and Jammu. Over the last week, the city of Delhi and its nearby areas witnessed temperatures reaching nearly 50C, breaking previous records. A photo of a vehicle covered with a cloth On social media, videos of people in Delhi struggling to access water from tankers have been shared widely. Furthermore, many parts of the capital are undergoing frequent electricity disruptions. There is an ongoing investigation to determine if the temperature reading of 52.9C in the Mungeshpur area on Wednesday resulted from a sensor malfunction at the nearby weather station. A study published in the medical journal, The Lancet, revealed that India experienced a 55% increase in fatalities caused by severe heat between 2000-2004 and 2017-2021. In 2021, exposure to heat caused a reduction of 167.2 billion possible labor hours for Indians, as stated in the study. Even though many parts of the country have been experiencing heat waves in summer as usual, experts have pointed out that these are now lasting for longer periods, intensifying, and occurring more frequently.
How Athletes are Helping Eldoret Town Transition into a City
Uasin Gishu is fondly nicknamed ‘City of Champions.’ Even as world champions continue to rise from the county, retired athletes have been leading activities and measures to preserve the good name born out of athletics. The county eagerly awaits the presidential admission and chartering of its county headquarters, Eldoret town, into a city. The town is undoubtedly the maker of world champions. Along with the neighbouring Transnzoia counties, the county excels in farming. Eldoret is getting ready for City status and continues to host international sporting championships. Some key games include the Eldoret Marathon, a leading nurturing ground for upcoming talents. Prize money earned from different world events has shaped the town’s skyline. Three-time world 3000 meters steeplechase star Moses Kiptanui is one of the thriving entrepreneurs in Eldoret. Sports management should offer holistic support to the athletes to continue churning out athletic talent. Lack of discipline and mentorship has made the athletes susceptible to frequent anti-doping tests. We lack mentorship, which has contributed to the athletes from the events within a short time. As much as I am coaching my athletes, I have to coach them even outside this running career. I am not only coaching one to run but also coaching them to have a better life tomorrow, said Kiptanui. Former 800-meter Common Wealth Champion Japheth Kimtai is giving back to society by nurturing young people interested in the game. He has established a complete sports athletics training Centre in Kaptagat. Ariel view of Eldoret town Besides training, the Centre has helped some trainers get USA scholarships and is dedicated to holistic mentorship and coaching. “Every day at 5 o’clock, they have to go for devotion… You will see them teaching other athletes even what to do on their own,” Japheth shared. The entrepreneurship and coaching efforts these athletes offer continue to propel the beauty of the town. The president is expected to confer the charter in August this year. In mid-September 2023, the Senate Committee on Devolution and Intergovernmental Relations recommended that Eldoret municipality be given city status. The committee purported that the city had complied with the Urban Areas and Cities Act of 2011. When declared a city, Eldoret will be the fifth after Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, and Nakuru. The town meets the population threshold of 250,000 residents and has an Integrated Urban Area Development Plan. Its thriving businesses have also demonstrated its ability to generate sustainable income.
Masinde Muliro Stadium Ready for Madaraka Day
Masinde Muliro Stadium in Bungoma County is now set and ready for the Madaraka Day celebrations on June 1st. Just a few hours before the celebrations kick off, the team on the ground confirms that all the necessary arrangements are in place. Dr Raymond Omollo, Principal Secretary for Internal Security, who was also leading the National Celebrations Steering Committee confirmed that they were satisfied that the stadium and other facilities were well renovated and prepared for the celebrations. The stadium underwent strict structural upgrades over the last four months, turning it into a state-of-the-art venue fit for the celebrations. It boasts a seating capacity of 40,000. Masinde Muliro Stadium is expected to host 12,700 residents, with the VVIP lodge carrying up to 2,000 guests. While speaking to journalists on Wednesday, the PS said that the stadium was 96 percent complete and was undergoing final touches. He added that the Matulo Airstrip in Webuye was also 96% complete and the runway was in good condition. Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka also said that the airstrip was ready and only undergoing the final installation of the perimeter wall. In addition, the PS confirmed that the State Lodge was 100 percent complete and ready for the luncheon. The lodge has since been handed over to the national government in readiness to welcome the guests who will attend the celebrations. Dr Omollo said that the theme for this year’s celebrations will be food security. According to the PS, the government is already taking measures to reduce food production costs, eliminate cartels, and improve the region’s agricultural productivity and food security. The enhancement of the stadium aims to provide locals with modern amenities and establish it as a premier venue for international sporting events. This, in turn, will contribute to the economic growth of the area, offer aesthetics, and boost national pride. The Bungoma County Governor recognized the efforts of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and the National Youth Service (NYS) in completing the stadium. He welcomed all Kenyans to Bungoma for the celebration of Madaraka Day. Earlier this year, the chair of the National Celebrations Committee Anne Ngétich told Kenyans that the Nation will mark all important days the county and sub-county levels. This, however, accepts Jamhuri Day, which is celebrated in Nairobi. Marking Madaraka Day at the Masinde Muliro Stadium is a way of honoring the fallen hero, Masinde Muliro. Having been named after the freedom fighter, the stadium is indeed a historic site.
Former U.S President Donald Trump Found Guilty of Plan to Influence the Outcome of 2016 Election
Donald Trump has been found guilty of falsifying business documents in an illegal attempt to influence the 2016 presidential elections in his favor. Trump was found guilty on all 34 charges in a hush-money corruption scheme that was an attempt to ensure his election against current United States President, Joe Biden. After deliberating his charges for less than a day, a jury found the former US President guilty. The case against Trump has dominated the news cycles for months since it began. Being found guilty is a momentous and dangerous moment for Trump and his political career. Despite the criminal charges leveled against him, he has remained the only viable presidential candidate for the Republican Party. He is the presumptive nominee and is expected to challenge Joe Biden in the November presidential election. However, this guilty verdict could see his high poll numbers drop significantly. The jury, made up of 12 people from New York, found the controversial politician guilty of felony falsification of business records. Under US law, it is a crime for an individual to fill out false data in records to use them to commit a second crime. Reacting to the guilty verdict afterward, Trump claimed that his trial was rigged. He also accused the presiding judge of being conflicted and corrupt. He said the entire process was a disgrace. Soon after the guilty decision against his Republican opponent, President Joe Biden’s campaign team responded with an email. In the email, Biden and his team said that the verdict against Trump showed that no one is above the law. The email went on to say that Donald Trump has always been under the mistaken belief that he would never face any consequences for blatantly breaking the law for his agendas. The email went on to state that the verdict will not change the reality that Donald Trump, whether he gets convicted or not, will still be the Republican presidential nominee to face President Joe Biden. The email urged the citizens of the United States and supporters of Biden, to turn out in large numbers during the elections to ensure Trump does not find his way back into the White House. How the Case Against Trump Unfolded in Court In the case, the Manhattan district attorney took Trump to court accusing him of falsely recording the reimbursements to Michael Cohen, one of his former attorneys. The reimbursement was for the $130,000 that Cohen paid to Storm Daniels, a porn star. Cohen paid the money to Daniels for her not to reveal her affair with the former president. Trump then recorded the reimbursement to Cohen as “legal expenses.” Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s former lawyer who gave damning testimony According to prosecutors, Trump made the false documents to conceal that he had broken the state election laws in New York. New York state laws say it is illegal for any person to get elected into office unlawfully. Arguing its case, the state of New York said that Trump broke the law by paying hush money to Daniels. According to the prosecutors, the payment was an illegal campaign contribution, because its sole purpose was to help propel into the White House. The money was also more than the $2,700 contribution cap on individual campaign contributions. The prosecutors called 20 witnesses. In approximately one month, these witnesses gave evidence of how Trump and his friends David Pecker, a media executive, and his lawyer Michael Cohen worked together to conceal evidence of his affair with Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal, a model for Playboy magazine. According to the witnesses, after the Access Hollywood tape of him bragging about sexual harassment came out, Trump became worried that tales of his affairs with the adult stars would come out and ruin his prospects of becoming president. In the leaked 2016 tape, Trump forgot to turn off his hot mic and was recorded boasting that he was able to grab women “by the pussy.” Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels have been pictured together in the past So, when it became more and more likely that Trump’s history with Stormy Daniels would leak out before the presidential election in 2016, Cohen moved quickly to pay off the porn star for exclusive rights to her story. This was a move to prevent the story from ever getting published. During his testimony, Cohen revealed that he used a home loan to raise the money needed to pay off Daniels. He then used a shell company to wire the funds to her lawyer. In his damaging testimony, Trump’s former attorney said that he went into all this trouble because he knew his client would later reimburse him the funds. According to Cohen, Trump had told him to just take care of the situation. Trump also moaned that the whole thing was a disaster and that it would make women hate him. Asked by the prosecution whether he would have paid off Stormy Daniels without authorization from his boss, Cohen replied no, saying that Trump would have to put his signature on everything his lawyers handled. Daniels also recounted her encounters with Trump. She recalled a time when Trump said she reminded him of his beautiful daughter. He remarked just like Daniels, people underestimate her because she is beautiful and blonde.
Indonesian Man Discovers He Married His Fellow Man After 12 Days of Marriage
An Indonesian man finds out that his ‘Wife’ is not a woman. The 26-year-old man known as AK got the shock of his life after finding out that his new bride Adinda Kanza was a man posing as a woman just 12 days after they tied the knot. As per the report in the South China Morning Post, AK and Kanza met on social media in 2023 and later on agreed to meet in person. They dated for a year and during their meetups, Kanza always wore Muslim attire and a niqab, which symbolizes her devotion to her faith in Islam. AK never thought anything of it as it is tradition for Muslim women to cover up. Ak and ESH on their weding day These two eventually got married, Kanza claimed she had no family so no one came from her end. AK began to feel uneasy as Kanza continued to hide her face from him and refused to interact with his friends and family. ‘She’ refused to consummate their marriage giving different reasons from having her menstrual cycle to being sick. AK had enough and decided to investigate who Kanza was, to his disbelief he found out that her parents were very much alive and were not aware of the marriage between the two. He also found out that Kanza had been cross-dressing since 2020 and was actually a man whose real name was ESH. A man who dresses as a woman When the police did their investigations Kanza revealed that she married Ak to steal his family assets, how she would have archived this still remains a mystery. Kanza was arrested and is currently facing fraud charges that could result in four years in jail under the local law. Police were in disbelief as Esh truly resembled a woman mostly when she wore her makeup and spoke in a high-peached voice that resembled that of a woman. If you look at their wedding photos, Adinda looks exactly like a real woman, police said in a statement. He also has a gentle voice and tone, so there was no suspicion at all about him being a woman. Netizens were in total disbelief that a man pretending to be a woman could deceive so well to the point of actually getting married. Others felt sympathetic to Ak as he had suffered both financial and emotional loss at the same time ridiculing his situation.
