Once one wins a green card or receives a visa to the US or Canada the expectation of life changing immediately is very high. In most cases in Kenya people who apply for green cards and visas to the diaspora are from humble backgrounds and in most cases they are the primary breadwinner of their families.

Therefore, when such opportunities come their way most times if not all the said person does not plan on how they are going to survive in the diaspora before they get their life in order.
