An unknown female member of Solid Rock Ministries in the United States is accused of stealing more than Ksh160, 000 intended for community work in Vihiga, Kenya.
To support the people of Jebrock, Vihiga County, the aforementioned worshipper was entrusted with gathering the donations and depositing them into one of the church accounts.
But tragedy struck, throwing a pall over the crowd. The pastor, a tower of strength and compassion, was called away by fate’s tragic chords, and his beloved wife was captured by despair’s inexorable grip. As he grieved her loss and tended to his broken heart, the load of responsibility rested on another’s shoulders, a devoted worshiper entrusted with a sacred mission.
Reports from the United States state that the pastor of Solid Rock Ministries took a week off following the suicide death of his wife to take care of an urgent family situation. Here, it was the stated church member’s responsibility to collect the donation; however, she vanished with it.
An unhappy church member filed a complaint with the city attorney on March 8, but since the church had not officially filed a complaint, the attorney indicated the case would be closed and treated as a civil matter. This indicates the suspect’s release.
The loyal were left shaking after this betrayal, and their trust was shattered. A single voice called out for justice in the middle of the pandemonium in the wilderness, but all the law-abiding people could do was look the other way. Ignorant of the suffering of the abandoned, the municipal attorney dismissed the case as a simple civil disagreement and allowed the accused to live in freedom.
The loyal were left shaking after this betrayal, their trust shattered like brittle glass on cold, hard ground. A single voice called out for justice in the middle of the pandemonium in the wilderness, but all the law-abiding people could do was look the other way.
As a result, the injustices that have occurred in the past continue to reverberate through Solid Rock Ministries, clouding their previously sincere goals. The fountain of charity, which was once abundant, is now dry, its waters poisoned by betrayal. Once given with open hands and hearts, donations are now inactive, immobilized by the fear of ownership issues.
